After about 24 hours of travelling we have finally arrived in Johannesburg. Steph, Amber, and I made the trip together and were greeted at the airport by Mike Taylor (Steph's Godfather). Mike took Steph and I back to his house to stay with his family (Annette, his wife, Tiffany and Tennielle, their daughters) while Amber met up with Euan and stayed with other friends. The Taylors have treated us with true South African hospitality from coffee steaming next to our bedside to taking us on a crazy adventure within the first 24 hours of our arrival. We have just returned from Magalies Canopy Tour where we went on ten zip lines that zig-zagged across a huge gourge. It was beautiful and a wonderful way to start our trip. Our stay is here is short though as we fly out tomorrow for Durban to meet up with Steph's aunt and uncle. We will stay with them through next Wednesday and then head to the orphanage. We are enjoying some down time because the kids haven't started back to school yet. But we are eager to get to the orphanage and meet our "family" for the next five weeks.
